Identification Requirements

To board a flight within Kenya, all passengers who are to be 18 years of age or older are required to present:

  1. One piece of valid Kenyan government-issued identification that includes a photograph and the passenger's full name and date of birth; or
  2. Passport.

Please note that driving licenses will not be accepted in lieu of the above.

Skyward requests that passengers under 18 years of age travelling within Kenya present one piece of valid identification (government-issued with or without photograph preferred), however this is NOT mandatory for travel.

For unaccompanied minors and infants under 2 years of age, Skyward requires government issued birth certificates or student ID cards with a date of birth to meet various security and governmental regulations.

Note: The name on the identification must match the name on the boarding pass.
